KIMBERLEY HOTEL - CAPE TOWN

"The Kimberley hotel, on the corner of Roeland and Buitekant street, has been restored . This Cape Town landmark was built in 1895, and was the starting point for horse drawn carriages leaving Cape Town for Kimberley. The hotel boasts a conference centre for up to 60 delegates, a coffee shop with internet access, as well as the famous old bar with original woodwork. From the hotel, guests can quench their thirst admiring Table Mountain, or take a two minute walk to the District Six Museum. Being on the edge of the city, it is only a five minute walk to Parliament and the Cape Castle, and a further minute to the famous Cableway. We have now restored the building to its original splendour offering a yesteryear experience with todays luxuries. The hotel offers 11 stylishly decorated rooms, as well as Barnatos restaurant, which offers fine dining classics."
